Задача
TO SOLVE THE ISSUE WITH RECRUITMENT

Back in 2017, a young company came to us in distress. They were looking for new developers to hire, and we had to help them find and select the right specialists. Easy-peasy.

But once we started, something went south. Negotiations with candidates were great at the very beginning but afterwards, all our candidates refused the offers. It was strange because the client had fascinating projects and quite attractive conditions.

We had to find out what was wrong and fix it.

WORK ON YOUR IMAGE

Search engines gave us the answer. Several former employees left a bunch of negative reviews on employers rating websites. When candidates googled the name of the company, the first thing they would see were these reviews.

It doesn’t automatically mean that the employee is bad. Negative emotions encourage people to write reviews more often than positive ones but it can be solved by simple math. The more positive reviews we have, the less significant the negative ones look. In this case, the company was still very young, and a couple of hotheads overshadowed a dozen of nice reviews.

We pointed it out to our clients: it was time to work on the reputation. They involved PR specialists, and together we’ve managed to:

  • monitor all the platforms where the company was mentioned;

  • help prove that some of the reviews were ungrounded and delete them;

  • gather recommendations on how to work with negative feedback.

Although it was still a work in progress, the issue was eliminated. The company went from a reputational minus to a reputation plus and attracted new developers.

RIGHT IMAGE AND NEW PEOPLE

It’s common thing for companies to overlook the review websites. However, it is a valid point and affects the employees' opinion directly, both current and potential ones. We helped our client notice the danger in time, fix their image in candidates’ eyes, and therefore top their team up with new specialists.
