TO FIND A REGIONAL MANAGER FOR A HUGE COMPANY
The more serious a company is, the higher its standards are for potential employees. The higher the position is, the more nuances there are to take care of while searching.
One of the biggest Asian IT companies decided they needed a representative in a small Eastern European country. A talented, skilled, and responsible Regional Manager had to represent the whole assortment of the company's products, from a search engine to an e-wallet. This was our task.
NETWORKING MOVES THE MARKET
In this case, the Regional Manager is basically the face of the company. The requirements for a person like this were higher than ever: it had to be an experienced Product Manager, a powerful Project Manager, and also a specialist who knew the IT market from the inside.
We introduced 12 candidates. Initially, the client wanted to see people from the B2B segment only. But there were almost no specialists with the required skills in this field ready to represent a company of this size. To find new candidates, we moved the search nets to the B2C segment.
The right person appeared on the radar of our classic networking system. The specialist combined the powerful skills of a C-level position, required knowledge of the field and business peculiarities in the country, and the desire to take responsibility. A month after the first introduction, the company made an offer: that’s a short timeframe for such a top position.
CLOSED C-LEVEL POSITION FOR AN IT GIANT
It was a good idea to enlarge the search circle because sometimes the strict criteria from the client limited their own opportunities. After three months of hard work, we found a talented and reliable manager who was trusted by the world-known company to represent it.
